A company that provides phone and other communication services has donated $10,000 to a recreation vehicle hall of fame in northern Indiana.
The Elkhart Truth reports (http://bit.ly/w6fC3O ) reports that Frontier Communications CEO Maggie Wilderotter presented the donation Tuesday to RV/Motor Home Hall of Fame & Museum executive director Tom McNulty. Wilderotter says the company wanted to help keep the heritage of the RV industry alive and well in Elkhart.
There was speculation last spring that the hall could close. McNulty says the hall is in better shape now with enough funds to operate through 2012. He says it is still working on its long-term debt obligations.
